Building and construction
Civil Engineering and Infrastructure
Shore Scaffolding have been involved with Civil Engineering and Infrastructure projects for many
years. Projects have included work to the road, rail and water infrastructure, waste and water
treatment, sea defences and the gas industry, many of our employees hold relevant
qualifications to work in these areas. Our Railtrack Link up qualification achieved in 2004
and confirmed via audit in 2006 proves our status as an approved supplier to the rail
industry. PTS labour is trained and maintained by us.
Conservation and Refurbishment
The provision of access and fall protection during the refurbishment and maintenance of existing
structures has always been an important part of our operation. The constraints of working around
occupied properties and in public areas bring a particular challenge. Our experience in this work
means that we are aware of the requirements of both clients and residents and ensures the
minimum of any conflict.
An area of particular expertise is the installation of scaffold for the conservation of historic
structures. The often-sensitive nature of these projects requires a considered and co-operative
approach to avoid damage to irreplaceable buildings and successful conservation.
